BG Soccer Program Information

First Kicks

Dates: September 16 - October 28, 2025

Location: Apalachee Regional Park

Ages: 3-5

Day and time: Tuesday evenings 6pm - 6:40pm

Summary: We will offer healthy exercises and a safe environment for making friends and developing basic agility, balance, and coordination while learning soccer.

Cost: $90

 

 

 

Grassroots

Dates: September 9 - November 1, 2025

Ages: U6-U18

Location: Practices will be held at Apalachee Regional Park. Games may be at Apalachee Regional Park, Tom Brown Park, Meadows Soccer Complex, or Tower Road

Day and time: Our grassroots players will train one time a week in an encouraging and development-focused environment. We will aim to keep the training day on Tuesdays; however, space is limited in the Fall which means the training day for grassroots may be on a Monday or Wednesday. Training start times range from between 6pm and 7:00pm. Once team assignments are set, you will be notified of practice times.

Games: Grassroot teams will play 6 inhouse games against other Grassroot teams. To keep a development focus, games will be small sided, ranging from 3v3 to 7v7.

Assessment: NO assessments are required for grassroots teams.

Summary: This program is geared towards beginning to intermediate players who want to have fun, build skills, and improve their understanding of the game.

Cost: Early bird $90; Regular $115; Late $135

 

 

BG Rookie Academy

Dates: September 9 - November 1, 2025

Ages: U6-U8

Location: Practices will be held at Apalachee Regional Park. Games may be at Apalachee Regional Park, Tom Brown Park, or Meadows Soccer Complex

Day and time: Rookie Academy players will train two days weekly on Tuesday and Thursday. Training start times range from between 5:45pm and 6:30pm. Once team assignments are set, you will be notified of practice times.

Games: Teams will play 6 inhouse small-sided games for development and participate in an end of season inhouse tournament.

Assessment: NO assessments are required for BG Rookie Academy teams.

Summary: This program is geared towards beginning to intermediate players who want to have fun, accelerate their competitive skill development and their tactical understanding of the game.

Cost: Early bird $155; Regular $185; Late $225

 

 

 

Competitive Development

Dates: August 26 - November 15, 2025

Ages: U9-U18

Location: Practices will be held at Apalachee Regional Park. Games will mostly be at Apalachee Regional Park, Tom Brown Park, Meadows Soccer Complex, or Tower Road.

Day and time: Competitive Development players will train two days weekly on Tuesday and Thursday. Training start times range from between 5:15pm and 7:00pm. Once team assignments are set, you will be notified of practice times.

Games: Teams will play 6 games and participate in an end of season local tournament. Teams will play inhouse games and against comparable and challenging teams from other clubs.

Tournament: All competitive teams will play in an end of season local tournament. Choice of tournament will be based on team performance during the season.

Assessment: Players must be assessed to participate on a competitive team.

Summary: This program is geared towards intermediate players who want to have fun while training and playing in a more competitive environment. This program is focused on developing and enhancing competitive skills and understanding of the game.

Cost: Early bird $155; Regular $185; Late $225

 

 


REGISTER FOR FALL 2025

Assessments are only for players born in 2017 or earlier and only for players looking to particpate on a competitive development team. Players who have completed an assessment with Bold and Gold after May 1, 2025 are fine until May 1, 2026.


Key Registration Information

TEAM SPOTS ARE LIMITED for Fall 2025. Once team spots for an age group are filled that age group registration will be closed.
Early registration discount period ends July 12, 2025; Regular Registration period ends August 16, 2025 and then Late Registration fees apply. Registration will close once all spots are filled but not later than September 26.
You may choose to pay in full or pay in installments (installment payments are possible only with debit or credit card payments). To pay with check, select 'offline' payment.
We will have a no refund policy but may credit your payment or you may donate to another child

Whats covered in the fees?
We try to keep costs low so it's not a barrier to participation. Registration fees cover state registration cost and costs for training sessions, games, referees and insurance. We help first-time registrants by covering the cost of uniforms which should last two years. The cost for replacement or additional uniforms are paid by the requesting player.


Need help with costs?
As a nonprofit, we have worked hard to provide sports at up to 60% reduced cost; however we know hardships still happen. We don't want costs to keep anyone out. If you have a special need for additional financial assistance please don't hesitate to apply. If approved you will receive a code to use when you apply. Please wait to hear back befor you register your child(ren).

When will training begin for the Fall?Fall training will begin on the week of the start date for the program you select
When will I know of practice days for my child's teamFall practice days will be provided to you once your child is placed on a team
When will Fall team assignments be made?Fall team assignments will depend on registration numbers. We will notify everyone no later than one week before the start of practices.
How will I be notified?We communicate through TeamSnap. Please be sure to download the app to your phone after you register. We will have a parent onboarding meeting before the season begins to communicate other important information
Which level is best for my child?Players must be assessed in order to be placed on a competitive development team. If your child is assessed and recommended for competitive development, you still have the option to choose Grassroots. We will provide guidance as needed; however, team placement is crucial to a child's enjoyment. A child who is still near beginning stages is better suited for a grasstoots team.
