Our youth have the potential to become responsible, ethical and constructive leaders in their families, communities, professional industries and around the world.  However, opportunities for that development is being suffocated by financial hardship and a lack of positive role models, training, encouragement and vision.

Bold and Gold Sports was created to tackle these barriers through the engaging and strategic vehicle of sports.  Bold and Gold stands for Boys and Girls Opportunities for Leadership Development (Bold is for Boys Opportunities and Gold is for Girls Opportunities).  We seek to create accessible opportunities to help our youth get and stay involved in sports, and through this, facilitate healthy development physically, mentally, psychologically, emotionally and socially

Sports allows our youth to be healthy and active, work with others in team environments, tackle and creatively solve problems, overcome adversity, embrace diversity, cope with mistakes, persevere, be self-aware, lead, and most importantly learn what it REALLY means to win!

To get and keep our youth involved in sports takes an intentional and collaborative effort to make and keep sports affordable, accessible and attractive.  Additionally, we have to provide an environment of encouragement, belonging, hope and belief that allows our young people to not only excel in sports but, also, succeed in life as leaders.  That is where Bold and Gold comes in.

Established in 2021, Bold and Gold Sports has partially or fully sponsored over 40 young people to participate in sports.  We have enrolled over 130 elementary to high school aged students in our athletic programs.  Numerous high school students have developed leadership skills by volunteering as assistant coaches, referees, and event support.

Our volunteers help by providing encouraging coaching, mentoring, and guidance.  We support the needs of the families involved to strengthen the bonds of this critical institution.  You too can get involved to help in this worthwhile effort.
